Opencloudware Use Case and Platform Integration - Yves Vinter, Bull. OpenCloudware architecture helps Cloud Service Providers and DevOps teams to build and to deploy new virtual applications on private, public or hybrid clouds, based on the end-user Service Level Agreements. This demo presents the following steps to configure and deploy a three-tier Web Store application: user registration process, secured authentication, infrastructure description, project creation, application stack building, image and VM creation, cost evaluation, deployment monitoring and application execution.

OpenCloudware: the vApp Lifecycle Management Solution for Multi-Cloud - Daniel Stern, Orange Labs & Alban Richard, UShareSoft
Abstract: The main way to “go cloud” has proved to be, for security and economic reasons, hybrid : mixing private with public. Moving to Cloud PaaS is then requires to: manage the lifecycle of applications over different cloud providers; mask the heterogeneity; automate the deployment whatever the application technology and execution environment are, etc. In the presentation we showcase a sample from OpenCloudware results demonstrating in particular a complete mechanism, comprising: application selection, deployment, benchmarking. OpenCloudware supports many IaaS infrasctructures, including OpenStack (via OW2stack).

Overcoming the multi IaaS challenge and deploying on two cloud infrastructures

Write once, deploy everywhere. This multi-IaaS challenge is being resolved within OpenCloudware. The 5 minutes demo shows how to deploy several nodes on two different cloud infrastructures: enocloud and ow2stack, both IaaS being OpenStack-based. More IaaS diversity is coming in a near future.

CLIF meets Jenkins: performance testing in continuous integration, or more - Bruno Dillenseger, Orange Labs
Abstract: CLIF is OW2's load testing framework project, featuring outstanding adaptation capabilities. Among its possible integrations (such as Eclipse or Maven), this presentation focuses on CLIF's plug-in for the Jenkins Continuous Integration Server. This integration may be seen as a simple web-based user interface for running performance tests, enabling automatic testing and reporting. A demonstration and some use cases will be given, including the use of Jenkins' distributed mode for monitoring applications in complex network topologies.
